SKIING - WINTER SPORTS







  • SKIPARK - RUŽOMBEROK 3,5 km
  • The well-known ski centre Skipark Ružomberok is located in the hillsides of Great Fatra above the town of Ružomberok. It is a sought after place of recreation not only for the domestic visitors, but also for the foreign tourists. It is one of the most modern ski centres in Slovakia with a high service standard and service program.
    In the centre there are 12 km of downhill tracks, the longest 3900 m with its altitude 698 m, it is covered with artificial snow.
    A 4-chair -lift, 2 ski lifts and 4 ski lifts for children and beginners are available. Every weekend and during holiday ther are organized interesting shows and competitions for the families ( snowtubing - the high-speed ride on a rubber tyre; ice tower - for those who want to try climbing; various ski competitions; snowpark for children, etc.) You can also use a ski school, ski service, ski rental.
  • DEMÄNOVSKÁ VALLEY - JASNÁ 35 km
  • One of the biggest and most popular ski centres of winter sports. It is located 15 km away from Liptovský Mikuláš. There is an excellent surface for downhill skiing and many, more or less, demanding ski tracks. Besides the snowboard school there is a ski rental and service of snowboard equipment. The ski-mountaineering lovers can come into own, as well.
  • DONOVALY- 26 km
  • Various offers of winter sports, skiing, snowrafting, snowparagliding, night skiing, costume skiing - all can be found in PARK SNOW DONOVALY on well-prepared surface. Don´t forget to visit mushing attraction!
  • SMREKOVICA
  • Winter in Smrekovica is characterized by exellent ski conditions. The snow depth is often more then 1 meter. Smrekovica provides wide possibilities for ski-running, recreational ski-mountaineering, downhill ( two lifts - 300 m long are available). The alpine resort is located 1400 m above the sea level. From the large meadows in the ridge you have splendid views of the scenery of Great Fatra, Low and High Tatras and Martinské hole.
  • LIPTOVSKÝ RAJ - LIPTOVSKÉ REVÚCE - 20 km
  • The 3 ski lifts were completed with 2 new transport mechanisms. The main downhill course is 2000 m long. Complete services, rentals, refreshment are available.
